There are now three .pwnd formats:
- pwnd0000 is the original format in ANSI, supported since the original paw·ned² versions, with charset support depending on your region (Windows-1252 is the default charset on Western computers)
- pwnd0001 is ANSI as well, but is guaranteed to be Windows-1252 (which is also one of two encodings used by Havana online on the server)
- pwnd0002 is Unicode (UTF-8)
If you did not use any Unicode, the file format will be pwnd0001, otherwise it will be pwnd0002. The original version of paw·ned² will open all three files: pwnd0001 will be fully supported on Western computers, while pwnd0002 will cause glitched texts, but the builds will be OK. The old version will ignore consumables but will usually not delete such information.

- Recreated all non-elite skill icons not natively available in at least 64×64 by upscaling the original source DDS (54×54 crop for Kurzick and Rezz Sig, 52×52 for everything else) using Waifu (NCNN Vulkan) and downscaling via Lanczos. This includes the Rezz Sig and all PvE icons except for Sunspear Rezz Sig, which is natively available in 141×140, but paw·ned² used to a bad-quality one to date. Waifu sources might be added to the enlarge icon feature for those icons and non-PvE EotN skills. Some Prophecies skills might also require some work for their non-enlarged icons directly in paw·ned UI. You can compare old and new icons here.
